Acupuncture
Acupuncture as practiced by members of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), is a holistic approach to health, based on over 2,000 years of development and refinement in the Far East. The tradition is as much about the maintenance of health as the management of disease. Acupuncturists discuss the concept of Qi which can be translated to energy, this Qi can be obstructed or out of balance through physical, emotional traumas or illness.
Acupuncture looks to restore the bodies energy balance allowing alleviation of symptoms and restoration of health, this approach gives the acupuncturists a broad spectrum of ailments which can be helped such as Pain Syndromes (headaches and migraines), Allergies (eczema, asthma), Menstrual/Menopausal Problems (infertility, morning sickness), Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Insomnia, Dizziness, High Blood Pressure, Strokes, Bells Palsy, Addictions, Digestive Conditions (IBS), Respiratory Conditions (cough and colds).
Acupuncturists work very differently to Osteopaths/Physiotherapists who use acupuncture needles for dry needling, if you have any questions please call any of the clinics and an Acupuncturist will be more than happy to discuss your needs.
